Les made the dreams of his daughter, Shelley, come true when he arranged for her to meet Boyzone after she was diagnosed with Leukaemia, aged 12. After two years at Yorkhill, a bone marrow donor saved Shelley and Les has now raised more than £300,000 for the hospital and charities CLIC Sargent and the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust
